Examples of equipment used in matches
These examples are the unrestricted unlimited Rifle.
There is no class weight limit, you must be able to carry and lift the rifle on the bench.
There are two main styles of rifle in this competition:
- The more conventional appearing benchrest rifle weighing as much as forty or fifty pounds.
- A rail gun that ahs a return to battery rest for repeating each shot.
- Breechseating is allowed.
- Many competitors use a mechanical trigger release such as a camera shutter cable.
