I've been sizing them to .455” for use in the Webley, Smith 1917, and Colt 1909 in .45 Ely. I'll do some test loads in the next few weeks. Anyone else use this bullet? What caliber? Bruce

Years ago, That was the only bullet I had for a Webley Kauffman .455. I was trying to find a black powder load that shot to sights for upcomming match. Everything I tried was shooting high..so I chucked up bullets in bench lathe collet & used a 7/16” ball end mill to hollow base bullet..still shot high..turned bullet around & started hollow pointing..finally got it to shoot to sights at 25yds. But I only had 6 bullets left..and no time to cast more! I ended up winning match!
