I see there is already some of my stuff there.  I would say anything I have ever put in The Fouling Shot is fair game to put as a “teaser” in there. Carry on!

I took David's suggestion to heart and went to the blog section for the first time a few minutes ago.  Imagine my surprise in finding my 2006 article on the SKS there!  Btw, I've long since sold that particular rifle, but acquired another [Type 56; ANIB] a few years ago and have amassed some loading data for it (different CB's & propellants than the 2006 article).  A few differences are worth mentioning.  First, the 2nd SKS (different manufacturer) requires a .3160” -  .3165” CB whereas the original one needed .314".  Second, the new rifle has yet to lead the bore or the face of the gas piston, while my first one did so regularly.  In spite of that, accuracy was VG+.  With my current SKS, it is at least VG+ with the issued sights and trigger.  As I won't be home for another 7 weeks, I can't update that article, but I have every intention of doing so once I return.

I don't believe I am a good writer for the blog but I would like to nominate an article from TFS. I few years back there was an article about squirrel loads for Springfields.  Neat little article with a catchy title. If it would be useful I'll look up the exact issue this morning .

Educate me, if you please.

What's a Blog?

When the word first got my attention it seemed to be social media crap.  From conversations posted here it appears I was mistaken. BUT still ignorant. Why will Blogs be more useful to me (us) than forum posts?

I will ABSOLUTELY not be inter relating in the FACEBOOK madness. No how- no time, Do you need an explanation??

But Blogs appear to be unique. How??

Thanks for your input.

I'm reading the .635 Nitro express blog with interest as I just purchased a round ball mould with the idea of firing them in my break barrel 20ga. What luck this blog popped up just now.  Thanks Gp

Besides re-reading Ed Harris' past articles I'd like to see all the articles that Frank Marshall wrote. As a CBA member I “grew up” on Frank's articles. Ed has taken over nicely since Frank passed on.

 Pepe Ray,

A blog page is just another page on the website that we can use to get info to our members with notices or to publish articles. If you look at the top of any page on the website, forum or store, you will find the main menu. There you will find the blog page. Clicking on it takes you to the most recent pages, but you can also access the archive pages. On the pages you will find old reprints of FS articles and new “blog only” articles. These blog only articles will not be printed in the FS anytime in the near future.
