Today we had the great pleasure of a visit from Rus and Jane Arnold from Vancouver Island, BC.  They have been covering quite a bit of our little country of New Zealand in recent weeks.  Spent the afternoon over a pot of tea and fresh scones chewing the fat.  Rus was very keen on my Husqvarna .30-30 bolt rifle.  Always a joy to meet like minded members.

Cheers from New Zealand

That's excellent!

How can anyone NOT be excited by a Husqvarna 30-30?

Check out this photo then David.  Bottom left corner.  That's 1/2 of Abby's bunnies.  Oh the irony.

Jeff,

Yep, but I know you are a good dad and love those girls. The irony is not lost on me though. My youngest daughter had a rabbit for 8 years! They are not supposed to live that long, Kathleen took over it's care when she went to college.

Amazing to see that Rus hasn't aged any since I last shot with him quite a number of years ago although the hair may be a bit whiter..  Must be good living.

Hope to see you and that #1 again at one of our nationals sometime Rus.

I gave up eating rabbit when my Daughter brought one home from Nursery school. Had 3, lasted 9yrs all told. Then I sold the Hutch at a profit.

And no I didn't "help" any of them on their way.
