We had a match at Windhill Saturday with a great turn out of 12 shooters. Filled all the benches. In the 20 shot Offhand match we had 6 compete.

Bob Nicewanner turned in 2 really good targets, an 87-1× + 94-2×=181-3×. The 94 earned him a Screamer patch. The rest of us were vying for wnd place.

S. Livingston 171-3×

T.O'Neill 163-0×

Barb Nicewanner 160-1×

C. Allen 157-1×

D. Hrusoky 109-0×

Good work Stan.  Coming in second in an offhand match with Bob W. in it is like winning anyplace else. Most of us couldn't shoot a 94 prone on that target.

Check the match schedule.

FEEDBACK IS A GIFT! Would it be so hard to actually answer the poster's question? Aledo Il. is where the match was held.

While we are trying ti grow the organization it is not very welcoming to cut conversations short on the forum. If you can't simply answer the question I suggest you move along. Answers of "read the FAQ", and "check the match schedule" have the poster coming across as an insider groupie that can't be bothered and are annoyed by others seeking information. If bandwidth is the issue you made a poor hosting decision.

I'm sorry my reply is so late. Yes it was a registered CBA match held near Aledo, IL actually Hamlet is closer but you need a microscope to find it. We usually shoot both Benchrest and Offhand. I don't have my calendar with me but I believe our next match is June 24, if anyone is interested in attending.

Thank you Mark and Oquawka. I have not heard of the range before and wanted to know where it was. I live in SE Minnesota so not to far.

Thank you again

Jon,

There are also CBA matches in Minneapolis/St.Paul area. I shot at Minnetonka near Elk River a few times. They are a great group to shoot with and it is a really nice range.

There are several photos of Windhill on the gallery, I didn't get them labeled but look for a group photo with a guy in a orange vest.

Oquawka,

Thanks for you insight.

I have been looking at all the options for shooting with the CBA. I will get up and meet the guys in the Twin Cities this summer.

Always nice to make new friends.

Again thank you for your post.

We have matches in Oakdale and Hugo which are both East metro ranges.  Either would be a reasonable run up 35W or Hwy 52 for you. Oakdale matches are on Mondays and Hugo (Bald Eagle Sportsmans Assoc) are on Thursdays. The next match is in Oakdale this Monday. There are also matches at Minnetonka Games and Fish Club which is an hour north of Minneapolis. That club would be a pretty long run for you.
