We are aware of the issue of logging out after a short period and are again working on it. You still should be able to login, but after leaving the site you may have to login again.

I had problems when I checked the box to keep me logged in. Once I stopped clicking that box, I have not had problems.

Something good has happened - what every it is. Thank you.

I could not ask for help logging in because I could not log in to PM.

Thanks again!

I'd about given up on this forum due to the continual fight to get logged in. Thanks to someone, somewhere for getting things straitened out.  Log in this morning went smoothly. Hope it holds as there are folks that post here I think of as friends. Gp

I am not having trouble logging on.  I have to do it any time I want to comment.  It is getting tiresome.  If I was logged on at home, and went to work and logged on with my personal lap top, I had to log on at home again.  Now if I shut down the computer at home for any reason, I know I will have to log on to comment or read topics not open to the public.  It is, what it is.  Might be my ISP, might be my OS, might just be the DSL speed.  As long as I am a member I guess I will remain on the forum.

Yup,what admiral said.

It goes much further than that for me. But it just starts sounding "ranty" so no real point. Still can't edit or attach pics, and while that isn't a deal breaker it does, overall lower contributions.... figuring, others have difficulties as well?

I'm not a big fan of "remember me" and have a lot better luck keeping unwanted trash off my computer now that I've learned to avoid this little time saver.  My problem was that it seemed to matter how this site was accessed as to weather or not my password was accepted. Until yesterday I would have to go to the home site and then select "view forum" to get in. As of yesterday, the google shortcut works. Gp

"Remember me" is on your computer under: Tools, options, security. When you check it your computer keeps the site address and your log-in in a file... if you so choose... to help with log-ins when the site program operates properly.
