I know over the past year there has been discussion of and on about NEI as to whether or not it was still in business. Well now there is a notice on the site that her husband has passed away and she is taking offers for the business. I really hope she can find a buyer. Even though we have some other great mold makers such as Accurate, NOE, Arsenal, Mountain and others, we all lose when one goes out of business.

That's hard to hear. My prayers go out to her.

Long time Caster/Reloader, Getting back into it after almost 10yrs. Life Member NRA 40+yrs, Life S.A.S.S. #375. Does this mean a description of me as a fumble-fingered knuckle-draggin' baboon. I also drool in my sleep. I firmly believe that true happiness is a warm gun. Did I mention how much I HATE auto-correct on this blasted tablet.

I hope there is a buyer for her. That would a double win.

As many of you know, at one time, NEI was one the better mold suppliers. They have a huge inventory of hard to find bullet designs. If a good operator could be found, it would be a win for the cast bullet community.

Hopefully not too far off topic.....

Thinking about it, Hoch Molds (Dave Farmer) may have cut his last mold too. Nothing seems to be happening there either this last year, and CPA and Midway have dropped his line do to no product, no service.

I hope someone steps up for both these outfits.
