I gave my nightstand .380 to my daughter,so got a new 9. Loaded Lee 125gr.by book 3.6 titegroup, pb bullet, sized .356, pc,ed, col 1.160,10.4bhn, 25yd. Off rest, that,s good enough for a nightstand piece.
What Model is it?
Jon Welda CW5 USA Ret. 608 797 0056
Model 709,new in box, local dealer $284.00 tax and all. Those are the only three shots fired from it,I think I will stop there, that's good enough for me.
Better yet get 2 boxes of commercial Speer gold dot or Winchester silver tips. Fire one box and should all feed and fire, box 2 is qualified for serious use.
Did that puppy come with two magazines?
all guns jam .. mostly dirt or bad/mismatched ammo or a bad magazine in an autoloader. but sometimes with commercial ammo it just doesn't like.
even my beloved Beretta 92S has jammed once since 1984 ... of course it was while i was showing off ... and with a bad PREMIUM $1.50 each Hornady home defense round.
so we really should try to find a " mostly " reliable factory ammo that your gun specifically likes ...also of course this extra practice will imprint better just how to muscle-memory make the gun work in case of a high stress situation.
besides, shooting is fun ! ...
not to put down Taurus at all .. i might even prefer the Taurus 92 to my genuine Beretta ... and i love my Taurus 63, a decent clone of the Win. 63 22 auto.
You got a good buy on that from the looks of things.
