Hey, just wanted to say and introduce.  I'm Mike, been hanging out a bit at Cast Boolits but I have been planning on joining the CBA.  Been casting for a couple of years and it has really brought a lot of pleasure and added dimension to shooting.  Also powder coating at times which is fun and interesting as well.

I just got into 30 Luger on the Glock after casting for the 400 Cor Bon.  30 Luger is really my new passion, and quite a step from the big bore 44, 45 and 475s that I spent most of my time with.  Heck, I'm a revolver guy too, but I'm always willing to learn.

Greetings all, I look forward to learning and sharing.

Mike

Welcome aboard Mike.  It is always nice to welcome another CB loony into the fold.  If you think 30 luger is fun wait until you try casting for your rifles.

Brodie, thanks. I am avoiding casting for the rifle because I'll probably get lost and never come back!

Thanks for the welcome

David:

Thanks I will take a look at that.  I plan on joining, but I'm always open to an offer!.  I have a couple Broomhandles but they have been hiding out for a while.  I think now that I'm into 30 Luger, it will be a short time before they are dusted off.  Since the 30 Luger is on a glock system, I feel pretty good about treating it a more modern high performance round.  I will hit you up on the membership offer and maybe pick your brain on the Mauser.  I'm on my third mold - 313429 and I think it is going to be a favorite.

Thanks

Mike

Ross:  I need some acreage out by delta to shoot on.  Getting too crowded up north here.  Thanks!

There is a nice rifle range in Nephi that is open to the public and free.

Greetings.  I was fortunate enough to load and shoot some .400 Cor Bon when I visited Indiana last year.  We formed brass, loaded and went the range.  Great learning exercise.

Cheers from New Zealand
