As some of you know I have a small business selling gun parts on ebay. A couple years ago I bought a lot of single action parts and these were included. They are nothing that I have ever seen before and are obviously not single action parts, at least not that go to any single action I know of. They seen to be made of steel or cast iron. What are they?

Possibly original early Americana or reproductions of decorative inlay blanks. Usually seen on ornate muzzle loaders set into the wood, they are "hearts and flowers" the petal lines are carved after the piece is set.

That is a good guess because it reminded me that a round horn cabochon came with the parts also.

Dave: My guess, and it's just a guess ,is that they are wrist inlays and maybe just templates to be traced onto sheet brass or german silver. Like I said, just a guess.
