Press docking station.

Ok, so a long time ago when I was a member over at "Cast Boolits" a member there was making & selling docking stations for presses & lubersizers. I thought that it was a novel idea & checked his product closely. His docking station boasted of nice machine work but . . . the material was thin . . . to the point of customers having to shim the base of it or it would "rack". It became apparent that due to close tolerances if the unit wasn't shimmed perfectly flat then the docking plate that mounted on the press/lubersizer may not slide into the dock. Also there were no set screws to lock the press into the dock. Maybe none were needed? This is my speculation only mind you. So, I decided to make one out of heavier stock that didn't need to be shimmed. Also with more room for the press/lubersizer plate to slide into the dock AND set screws to lock it in. That was a number of years ago. Mine has been used heavily . . . and it shows as the paint is chipping/wearing off. I have three lubersizers & three presses & all have a mounting plate that slides into my dock. Never & issue as it is built like a tank! I used hot rolled steel plate but 1/4" aluminum would work just as well. Here's some pics. Looks like I got a double.

If someone else had of done to me what I did to myself . . . I'd have killed him. Humility is an asset. Heh - heh.

Yup, that's the only way to go. I have my RCBS Rockchucker and one Lube-A-Matic 2 mounted permanently. My Lyman Orange Crusher, Lyman 450, Herter's Super model 3, 2nd lube-A-Matic 2, RCBS auto prime bench tool, MEC 10,12, & 16 ga. loaders, and MEC Super Sizer are all mounted on 1/2" x 6" x 12" aluminum plate. The plates all have the same two mounting holes to fit the corresponding holes on my second bench. The plate holes are milled square for carriage bolts and lock down through the bench frame with industrial wing nuts.

Saved a picture of that.  I've just used a recessed piece of 1/2" aluminum drilled and tapped for my tools but I like the easy in/out slide in feature on yours.

Note that the middle piece of flat bar is 5/16" thick so as to give the docking plate on your press(es) 1/16" of wiggle room when sliding them in. Although I used six thumbscrews to lock the docking plate(s) in place, you really only need four. This unit has worked out very well for me as it only takes a few seconds to change presses/lubersizers.
