In FS#259 a a fellow asked a question concerning the loading of Remington .360 HBWCs. I thought they were no longer available. Guess I got that notion from Midway USA who lists them as "Discontinued". Anyway a brief search on the internet shows that they are still made. I use to keep some on hand to compare with my cast WCs. So, my question is: does any one have any suggestions as to a good source for the Rem HBWCs. Cove (Bill Duncan)

Thanks for the Precision Reloading contact. As to the other comments, years ago when I was doing a lot of testing with a SW mod, 10 set up for PPC by Day Arms, the Rem HBWC would produce one hole groups at 25 yds. using a machine rest. A couple of years ago I tried Zero HBWCs. They seemed to be accurate, but at least 50% of the bullets had been damaged in shipping. I am shooting cast HBWCs at 100 to 200 yds so want any comparison bullets to be undamaged. So the challenge will be to see if Precision will live up to their name and package bullets so they will not be damaged in shipping. Wish me luck. Cove

I've had great luck with the Hornady HBWC. It was my standard, by which I measured all others.

Unfortunately I've reached that point in my Life that all of us will eventually come to. Old Age, can't see and can't hold a handgun as steady as I once did. Can't even stand up to shoot.

Used to get the Remington .456 RNFP Cup Base to shoot in My Dad's 1st Gen Colt. Those were accurate, My Dad loaded using old Lyman 310 dies.

Long time Caster/Reloader, Getting back into it after almost 10yrs. Life Member NRA 40+yrs, Life S.A.S.S. #375. Does this mean a description of me as a fumble-fingered knuckle-draggin' baboon. I also drool in my sleep. I firmly believe that true happiness is a warm gun. Did I mention how much I HATE auto-correct on this blasted tablet.

I remember the late Gil Hebard did accuracy tests for the S&W model 52, in the 1960's. The Remington bullets shot quite well in those tests.

Is there some reason that the Remington HBWC is considered so desirable? I think at least one bullet vendor out there has these for sale as a regular production item - Hornady I think? Did somebody do a test sometime (which I missed) showing the Remington bullets to be the most accurate?
