Just made a trade a week or so back for a fun gun . In pic is my Walker Colt for a comparison. My goodies showed up so I got busy as I had to shoot it !

The 440gr Lee mould worked great right from the get go and I just cast with WW sweetened with a bit of 50/50 solder. I bored and turned my own bullet sizer and nose punch for a .501 dia. bullet.
Loaded up about a half box with 34gr.4227 which is the starting load .
Went out to my back yard proving ground 25 yd. and shot 5 rounds offhand and got a 3-1/2" for a starter . Not too bad I dont think for just getting aquainted with "The Beast". Im sure it'll get better as I did get one bullseye and a couple close !
I had a 300 WinMag casing on the bench and sized it up to the 500 ..........MAN ! ,the 500 is almost as big !! It is fatter than the 300 !
What a blast shootin that thing !
