We do have a little problem here though. AOL, ATT and Bellsouth don't seem to like us

Could it be we are firearms related.

They keep rejecting emails from us to you. So if you want to join the forum fill out the registration info then

send an email to web10@castbulletassoc.com

and I will bypass the confirmation (just make sure you send it from your registered email account).

anyone experiment with sub-sonic, plinker 7.62X25 loads? lately i have been thinking (not good) about a 7.62X25 with a 120-150gr cast bullet loaded under 1000fps out of a single shot rifle. sort of like a "whisper" load. thanks, john

Check the topic "Ultra-light load development". Same experiment you are looking for, however for the 6.8 Remington SPC.

In .32 H&R Mag. I use 2 grs. of Bullseye with a 120-gr. bullet. Very quiet. 7.62x25 is similar capacity, should work fine with similar weight bullet that fits.

Take a look at Page 238, 12th Addition of Cartridges of the World you will find some loads listed for what J.D. Jones called the 7.63 Mini-Whisper.

The loads listed are for jacketed bullets in a 7 inch barrel , but still maybe worth your read.
