Located out side of Aledo, Il the Windhill range is host to
benchrest, military, offhand matches and share the the Region 4
Championship with the Washtenaw Cast Bullet Shooters in Michigan. (see schedule for
details) The Windhill range was started by the late Ed Doonan in what was then his backyard. The Marston Cast Bullet Society has since purchased the land for the range. Windhill is appropriately named for the unpredictable wind that has been know to come up in the middle of a match. |

Windhill has a covered shooting area with 12 concrete benches,
restroom facilities and several picnic tables that double as
loading benches. Some of the best hospitality in the Midwest is enjoyed by the frequent competitors that travel from out state. Visitors will find the members of Windhill helpful and very friendly. Certainly a range to visit in your travels. |
